1. SPONSOR. This Contest is sponsored by ‘WBND, ABC 57’ whose corporate headquarters address is 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661.
2. ENTRY. A purchase is not required to enter or win the Contest. The Contest begins Monday, October 8, 2012 5:00 PM and ends Saturday, October 13, 2012 4:59 PM unless extended by ‘WBND, ABC 57.’ Persons wishing to enter the Contest may do so by watching ABC 57 News at 5 PM and watch for the Code Word of The Day. Viewers then log on to www.ABC57.com to submit the Code Word of the Day and complete an online form to register for a chance to win a trip for two (2) to the 46th Annual Country Music Awards ceremony and broadcast in Nashville, Tennessee. Only one (1) entry per person, per email address, per day, per Code Word will be accepted. One (1) winner will be selected at random from all online entries using a computer software winner selection tool.
3. ELIGIBILITY. The Contest is open to all legal residents of Michigan and Indiana who are 21 years of age or older and live in the South Bend-Elkhart television viewing area as defined by A.C. Nielsen. Employees of ‘WBND, ABC 57,’ Weigel Broadcasting Co., the New Lenox Travel, JOS Limo, Federated Media, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, subsidiaries and family members of any of the above are not eligible to enter or win.
4. PRIZE. ‘WBND, ABC 57’ guarantees that one (1) winner will receive two (2) tickets to the Country Music Awards on November 1, 2012, round trip airfare for both winner and their guest from a Chicago-area airport, ground transportation from South Bend and the to Chicago airport and back, hotel accommodations for two (2) nights in a double occupancy room at the Gaylord Opryland Resort (October 31 – November 2, 2012), ground transportation from the airport in Nashville to the resort and back, ground transportation from the hotel to the award show and back, breakfast for two (2) mornings at the resort and an award show gift bag, two (2) tickets to the Country Music Hall of Fame, valued at $1,900. Tickets may not be substituted or exchanged. Odds of winning will be determined by the total number of Contest entries. A winner will be selected on Monday, October 15 between 10:00am and 10:30am by the phone number listed on their entry. Winners must be able to accessible to answer the phone call by a WBND station representative and accept the Prize at this time. Any selected winner who cannot be contacted at this time will be disqualified and an alternate contestant will be selected from the remaining eligible entries and notified. Winner’s name will be broadcast on B100 on Tuesday, October 16. The Prize winner must possess a valid picture ID to claim their Prize. Prizes will be coordinated via ABC 57 and Gaylord Opryland representatives.
5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. The Prize is non-transferable and must be picked up at ‘WBND, ABC 57’s station at 53550 Generations Drive, South Bend, IN 46635 unless optioned to send to the winner’s residence. There will be no substitutes or cash redemptions awarded to the Contest winner. By entering, the winner shall consent to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes related to the Contest, without additional consideration. The Gaylord Opryland Resort reserves the right to request that the winner submit a valid credit card at check in.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. The winner is responsible for income and other taxes on their Prize. The winner will be required to sign and return a 1099 form, Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability and Letter of Indemnification upon receipt of their Prize. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the Contest may result in a forfeiture of their Prize.
7. MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by ‘WBND, ABC 57’ concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer or telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘WBND, ABC 57’ where it becomes impracticable for ‘WBND, ABC 57’ to award the Prize, ‘WBND, ABC 57’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such Prize or any Prize et al. ‘WBND, ABC 57’ is not responsible for replacing the Prize as a result of events beyond the control of the ‘WBND, ABC 57.’ This Contest is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law. If you wish to receive the name of the Contest Prize winner, you must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to ‘WBND, ABC 57,’ ‘CMA Awards,’ 53550 Generations Drive, South Bend, IN 46635. ‘WBND, ABC 57’ must receive any such request for the winner’s names no later than February 20, 2013.
