1. SPONSOR. The Sweepstakes is sponsored by ‘WCWW, The CW25,’ whose corporate headquarters address is 26 N. Halsted, Chicago, Illinois 60661 (the "Sponsor").
2. ENTRY. A purchase is not required to enter or win the Sweepstakes. The Sweepstakes begins Monday, January 14, 2013 8:00 p.m. EST and ends Saturday, January 19, 2013 7:59 p.m. EST unless extended by ‘WCWW, The CW25.’ To participate, viewers must watch The CW25 weeknights at 8:00 p.m. for their chance to win a trip for two (2) to New York City and a The Carrie Diaries Prize Pack during the Sweepstakes period on The CW25. Each day during the 8:00 p.m. hour on The CW25, a Code Word of the Day will be shown. To enter the Sweepstakes, viewers must submit at least one (1) of the five (5) correct Code Words at TheCW25.com by 7:59 PM the following day during the Sweepstakes period. The Code Words will air on the following dates and hours: January 14 between 8 – 8:59PM EST, January 15 between 8 – 8:59PM EST, January 16 between 8 – 8:59PM EST, January 17 between 8 – 8:59PM EST and January 18 between 8 – 8:59PM EST. Only one (1) entry per person, per email address, per Code Word of the Day will be accepted. One (1) winner will be selected at random from all online entries using a computer software winner selection tool.
3. ELIGIBILITY. The Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of Michigan and Indiana who are 21 years of age or older and live in the South Bend-Elkhart television viewing area as defined by A.C. Nielsen. Employees of ‘WCWW, The CW25,’ Weigel Broadcasting Co., The CW Network, U93, Delta Vacations, American Express, advertising agencies, consultants, franchisees, suppliers, subsidiaries and family members of any of the above are not eligible to enter or win.
4. PRIZES. There is one (1) winner in this Sweepstakes. The winner will receive one (1) Delta Vacations voucher (valid for one year) and good for two (2) $400 airfares and $600 toward hotel expenses, one (1) American Express gift card valued at $200 and one (1) The Carrie Diaries prize pack valued at $25. Total retail value of the entire Prize is $1,625. The winner will be selected from the total number of entries who submitted the correct Code Word of the Day during the entire Sweepstakes period. Once notified, the winner will have three (3) business days to claim their Prize. If the winner fails to claim their Prize, it will result in the forfeiture of the Prize and a new drawing may be held for another winner. The Prize winner must possess a valid picture ID to claim their Prize at the time of pick up, within normal business hours, at ‘WCWW, The CW25,’ 53550 Generations Drive, South Bend, IN 46635.
5. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS. The Prize is non-transferable. There will be no substitute or cash redemption awarded to any Sweepstakes winner. All income and other taxes are the responsibility of the winner. By entering, the winner is consenting to the use of their name, likeness, and/or biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration.
6. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY. The winner is responsible for income and other taxes on the Prize. The winner will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, 1099 tax form, and Letter of Indemnification within three (3) days of notification of being a winner. Failure to comply with the rules and conditions of the Sweepstakes may result in a forfeiture of Prize.
7. MISCELLANEOUS. The decisions made by ‘WCWW, The CW25,” concerning any and all matters with respect to this promotion shall be final. In the event of a computer, telephone failure, or any other circumstances beyond the control of ‘WCWW, The CW25,’ where it becomes impracticable to award said Prize, ‘WCWW, The CW25,’ may, in its sole and absolute discretion, determine not to award any such Prize at all. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited, penalized or otherwise restricted by law. If you wish to receive the name of the Contest Prize winner, you must send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to The Carrie Diaries NYC Trip Giveaway ‘WCWW, The CW25,’ 53550 Generations Drive, South Bend, IN 46635. ‘WCWW, The CW25’ must receive any request for the winner’s names no later than July 1, 2013.
